Does the 2024 Tri Glide Ultra support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? Yes. Harley's flagship batwing trike (factory code FLHTCUTG) carries the Boom! Box GTS radio and its 6.5-inch touchscreen — and a HogPlay GTS bypass unlocks CarPlay and streaming without a dealer visit.
Headset Bypass Required
The factory Boom! Box GTS radio locks CarPlay behind a paired headset. A HogPlay headset bypass removes that so CarPlay and the USB port work without one — then a Media Box or Piglet adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and streaming apps.

The Tri Glide Ultra is the full-dress trike at the top of Harley's three-wheel range — fork-mounted batwing fairing, Tour-Pak, and the Milwaukee-Eight 114. Its Boom! Box GTS drives a pair of fairing speakers, with the USB-A port in the inner fairing.
On Boom! Box GTS for 2024, the Tri Glide Ultra takes the GTS bypass — not a Skyline kit. It unlocks the factory 6.5-inch screen for wireless Apple CarPlay, and a HogPlay Media Box or Piglet, riding on that unlocked USB, adds Android Auto and streaming through those factory speakers.
2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra CarPlay & Android Auto — FAQ
Does the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?
Yes. The 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra factory Harley-Davidson Boom! Box GTS audio system supports Apple CarPlay; a plug-and-play headset HogPlay bypass unlocks it wireless, and a HogPlay Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto, streaming and apps.
How do I get wireless Android Auto on the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra?
Android Auto on the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra needs CarPlay enabled first: a headset HogPlay bypass unlocks the factory Harley-Davidson Boom! Box GTS audio system, then a HogPlay Media Box or Piglet adds wireless Android Auto plus streaming apps. A bypass alone gives CarPlay; the Media Box adds Android Auto.
What apps and streaming can I run on the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra?
A HogPlay Media Box turns the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra into a full media center: Android Auto, Apple CarPlay plus Netflix, YouTube, maps and music. A Piglet adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto in a smaller package.
Is the HogPlay install on the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra plug-and-play and reversible?
Yes. Every HogPlay upgrade for the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra is true plug-and-play — a simple electrical connection with no cutting, splicing or flashing, and it's fully reversible. Setup is easy; exactly how you reach the connector varies by bike (USB adaptors plug straight in, while some radio-mounted bypasses need brief fairing or radio access).
Do I need a bypass to add Android Auto to the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra?
Indirectly, yes. The 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra factory Harley-Davidson Boom! Box GTS audio system keeps Apple CarPlay locked, so a headset HogPlay bypass is needed first — it unlocks wireless Apple CarPlay and is the gateway to Android Auto. The bypass alone doesn't add Android Auto; pair it with a HogPlay Media Box or Piglet to add wireless Android Auto and apps.
Which HogPlay parts fit the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra?
The 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra fits a headset HogPlay bypass to unlock wireless Apple CarPlay, plus a HogPlay Media Box or Piglet to add Android Auto and streaming. Confirm the exact set for your bike with What Fits.
For the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra, is a Media Box or a Piglet the better pick?
Both add wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra. The HogPlay Media Box is the full media center — Android Auto, CarPlay, Netflix, YouTube and maps on the factory screen; the Piglet is a pocket-size USB adaptor for wireless Android Auto and CarPlay without the extra streaming apps.
Is Android Auto on the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra wireless?
Yes — once the headset HogPlay bypass unlocks the Harley-Davidson Boom! Box GTS audio system, a HogPlay Media Box or Piglet gives the 2024 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra fully wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
HogPlay Media Boxes work on Diamond Audio, Boss Audio, Rockford Fosgate, SoundStream and Aquatic AV aftermarket radios to unlock apps, streaming and more — it's not just for factory screens. Running an aftermarket head unit? See the matching aftermarket radio pages.
