HogPlay USB- C Wireless CarPlay Bypass adaptor
The HogPlay Bypass USB-C is a USB-C micro connector and is engineered to unlock wireless CarPlay on motorcycle infotainment systems that require a headset connection. By emulating a Bluetooth headset, the HogPlay Bypass USB-C allows your bike's system to recognize and enable CarPlay without the need to carry a separate headset along for the ride.
Your motorcycle's infotainment system must support wireless CarPlay and Bluetooth headset pairing for the HogPlay Bypass USB-C to function. The HogPlay Bypass USB-C presents itself as a headset to satisfy this requirement, enabling music and navigation prompts to play directly through your motorcycle's speakers.
Note that the HogPlay Bypass USB-C does not convert wired CarPlay to wireless—it works only with systems that already support wireless CarPlay connectivity and are simply locked. If you need wireless CarPlay or Android Auto pair this device up with our HogPlay Media Box options.
The HogPlay Bypass USB-C features a pass through USB-C port, so you can charge your phone while enjoying seamless audio and navigation. The HogPlay USB-C has no microphone or headset function, it just emulates it. This allows for audio playback only.

How do I know if I need a HogPlay Bypass Adaptor?
Some factory systems offer CarPlay but it is 'locked out' unless you use a HeadSet. The HogPlay Bypass adaptor removes that restriction allowing you full use of Wireless Carplay.
It also unlocked our HogPlay Media Box's allowing them to offer an entirely Unleashed entertainment system
Is Professional Installation required?
This is as simple as plugging in a thumbdrive into your Factory Carplay USB Port. Doesn’t require any professional installation, wire cutting or splicing. This is a true plug and play design for simple installs.
Do this alter or change my existing radio?
HogPlay Bypasses are designed to be factory integrated. There is no need to change your radio. Our software is self contained and nothing is installed or altered on your Motorcycle.
Does the HogPlay Bypass USB-C support Android Auto?
HogPlay Bypass adaptors allow for WIRED functionality when it was restricted previously. For Most Bikes in order to get Android Auto you will need a HogPlay USB Piglet Adaptor or a HogPlay Media Box solution as well.
What type of Radio is required?
This piece is designed to work w/ the new 2023+ Harley Davidson® Roadglide, Streetglide, CVO motorcycles that feature the 12” Skyline Infotainment system factory installed.
We have also successfully tested this on Indian and Honda Motorcycles. Reach out to support for more details on those applications.
What's the Difference in the HogPlay Bypass options?
Functionality speaking there is no difference in our HogPlay Bypass systems. They all operate the same way and unlock wireless CarPlay. The main difference is how they are connected and what port they are plugged into.
Is this compatible w/ any other motorcycles such as Honda Gold Wing or Indian Motorcycles?
We're thrilled to say HogPlay Bypass products ARE compatible w/ Honda & Indian motorcycles and are currently testing additional models.
On Honda & Indian it is not plug-n-play and will require a factory hard wire. Ask support for help and instructions for your application.
