2024 Harley-Davidson Skyline & Boom! Box GTS CarPlay Guide
Harley-Davidson's 2024 touring lineup splits across three factory setups. The redesigned Street Glide and Road Glide, along with the CVO tourers, moved to Harley's new 12.3-inch Skyline touchscreen — Apple CarPlay is built in but gated behind a paired Bluetooth headset. The Ultra Limited and the trikes (Tri Glide Ultra, Road Glide 3) carry the older Boom! Box GTS, while the Electra Glide, Road King and the Softail & Cruiser lineup ship with no factory touchscreen at all.

The big 2024 change is Skyline: the Street Glide, Road Glide and CVO tourers run the 12.3-inch Skyline system with Apple CarPlay built in but locked behind a paired headset. A HogPlay under-seat bypass unlocks wireless CarPlay, and a Media Box or Piglet then adds Android Auto and streaming.
The Ultra Limited plus the Tri Glide Ultra and Road Glide 3 trikes still use the older Boom! Box GTS, which takes a headset bypass of its own. The Electra Glide, Road King and the Softail & Cruiser range have no factory screen, so they start clean with a bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen or an aftermarket CarPlay radio.
