Media Boxes talk to your factory display over the wired CarPlay protocol, so Android Auto works even on bikes whose factory system only ever offered CarPlay. All HogPlay software is fully self-contained — no flashing, no programming, no alterations. Installation and removal are as simple as plugging in (or unplugging), so nothing factory is ever voided or altered.
