The 2022 Indian Springfield carries over the Thunder Stroke 111 that replaced the bigger 116 the year before, still paired with the same console-mounted 7-inch Ride Command between the tank and the bars. Apple CarPlay runs from the factory, but only through a USB cable, and Android Auto has never been part of Indian's package. HogPlay's USB-C bypass adaptor lets that screen go wireless, and a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps on top — plugged into the factory harness, reversible, no dealer visit.
USB-C Bypass Required
The factory 7" Ride Command runs Apple CarPlay by USB cable only — no wireless, and no Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass makes CarPlay wireless, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps.

For 2022 the Springfield stays on the smaller Thunder Stroke 111, finished that year in Black Metallic over Dirt Track Tan or Maroon Metallic over Crimson Metallic. The console-mounted 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen behind the quick-release windshield is unchanged from the year prior — factory Apple CarPlay works over a wire, and Indian still doesn't offer Android Auto at all. HogPlay's USB-C wireless bypass adaptor unlocks wireless CarPlay on that same screen, and a Media Box or Piglet rounds out Android Auto and streaming.
