Indian refreshed the Chieftain Limited's palette for 2022 with Deepwater Metallic, Black Metallic and Silver Quartz Metallic, while the mechanicals held steady — the same air-cooled Thunder Stroke 116 and the fairing-mounted 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen. That screen already runs Apple CarPlay from the factory, but only through a cable, and Android Auto has never been part of the package. A HogPlay USB-C bypass adaptor sets CarPlay free, and a Media Box or Piglet brings in Android Auto and streaming apps. It plugs straight into the factory harness — reversible, no dealer visit.

The factory 7" Ride Command runs Apple CarPlay by USB cable only — no wireless, and no Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass makes CarPlay wireless, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps.
