The 2020 Indian Challenger Limited launched alongside the very first Challenger — Indian's liquid-cooled answer to the fully-faired tourer, wrapped in the extra chrome and touring hardware that set the Limited apart from the standard bike. Under the fairing sits the same 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen every 2020 Challenger carries, and it already runs Apple CarPlay from the factory — but only tethered to a USB cable, with no Android Auto at all. A HogPlay USB-C bypass adaptor cuts that cord, and a Media Box or Piglet layers in Android Auto plus your streaming apps on top of the PowerPlus 108. Early Limiteds shipped in Deepwater Metallic, Ruby Metallic, and Thunder Black Pearl — whichever paint code you're riding, the fitment is identical.

USB-C Bypass Required

The factory 7" Ride Command runs Apple CarPlay by USB cable only — no wireless, and no Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass makes CarPlay wireless, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps.

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2020 Indian Challenger Limited and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2020 Indian Challenger Limited

As the touring-trimmed sibling in the Challenger's launch lineup, the 2020 Indian Challenger Limited pairs the liquid-cooled PowerPlus 108 V-twin with a fixed, frame-mounted fairing and the added chrome and comfort features that distinguish it from the base bike. Paint that first year ran to Deepwater Metallic, Ruby Metallic, and Thunder Black Pearl. Every 2020 Challenger Limited carries the same 7-inch Ride Command display as the rest of the family — see the Indian Ride Command radio page (/pages/indian-ride-command-radio) for how the factory system is built. Ride Command answers Apple CarPlay out of the box, but only over a wired USB connection, with Android Auto absent entirely. HogPlay's USB-C wireless bypass adaptor unlocks wireless CarPlay, and a Media Box or Piglet brings in Android Auto and streaming — all through the factory USB port, reversible and dealer-free.

HogPlay Media Boxes work on Diamond Audio, Boss Audio, Rockford Fosgate, SoundStream and Aquatic AV aftermarket radios to unlock apps, streaming and more — it's not just for factory screens. Running an aftermarket head unit? See the matching aftermarket radio pages.
