To bring Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to a 2012 CVO Electra Glide, riders replace that Harman/Kardon radio with an aftermarket unit built for the fairing. Diamond Audio and Rockford Fosgate both make head units here with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto onboard, putting a real touchscreen where the factory display used to be.
A HogPlay Media Box then unlocks Android Auto plus Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music, and podcasts from an SD card or USB drive, no phone data needed.
