The 2023 Tri Glide Ultra carries the Milwaukee-Eight 114 into its third model year on the trike, unchanged in the fairing or the electronics that matter for phone integration. The batwing fairing still houses the Boom! Box GTS and its 6.5-inch touchscreen, drawing power through a USB-A port in the inner fairing. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto live on that screen from the factory but stay locked out until a headset pairs — HogPlay's bypass clears the lock, and a Media Box or Piglet turns the trike's speakers into a wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and streaming setup. Three model years into the 114, the 2023 Tri Glide Ultra is a known quantity: the fork-mounted batwing fairing, the Boom! Box GTS radio with its 6.5-inch touchscreen, and a USB-A port in the inner fairing all carry over from the two prior years. The Milwaukee-Eight 114 remains the engine doing the work across the trike's three wheels and Tour-Pak trunk.
What hasn't changed is the CarPlay gate — the GTS screen supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but only with a paired headset in the loop. HogPlay's bypass removes that requirement, and once it's installed, a Media Box or Piglet delivers wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and streaming apps through the trike's own speakers. The kit is plug-and-play and leaves the wiring exactly as Harley built it.
