2023 Harley-Davidson CarPlay and Android Auto Options by Family

The 2023 Harley-Davidson lineup splits cleanly into two audio worlds: batwing- and shark-nose-faired tourers like the Road Glide running Boom!Box GTS infotainment that only talks to a paired Bluetooth headset, and bare-dash machines in the Softail & Cruiser lineup that have no factory screen to begin with.

About 2023 Harley-Davidson

Every 2023 touring model — Street Glide, Electra Glide, and Ultra alike — ships with Boom!Box GTS, which routes CarPlay and Android Auto through a paired Bluetooth headset rather than the dash speakers, so the touchscreen itself never actually shows a wired phone-mirroring session.

A HogPlay bypass adaptor paired with a Media Box restores full-screen CarPlay on the factory display for any Boom!Box-equipped tourer, including the CVO lineup, while riders in the no-radio Softail & Cruiser family need a bar-mounted screen instead since there's no factory unit to bypass.
