The 2022 Indian Pursuit was the debut year for Indian's trunk-equipped touring flagship, and it launched exclusively in Dark Horse trim — with a Premium Package available for riders who wanted more. Every 2022 Pursuit carries the 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen up front, and Apple CarPlay already works out of the box, but only over a plugged-in USB cable, with no Android Auto at all. A HogPlay USB-C bypass adaptor makes that CarPlay connection wireless, and a Media Box or Piglet layers in Android Auto plus your streaming apps. Everything plugs into the factory Ride Command USB port — nothing cut, nothing spliced, fully reversible.

The factory 7" Ride Command runs Apple CarPlay by USB cable only — no wireless, and no Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass makes CarPlay wireless, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps.

Indian introduced the Pursuit for 2022 as its trunk-equipped luxury tourer, built on the liquid-cooled PowerPlus 108 V-twin shared with the Challenger — a fixed, frame-mounted fairing, integrated hard saddlebags, and a full rear trunk. That first model year came only in Dark Horse dress, offered in finishes like Quartz Gray, Pearl White with Black Metallic, Black Smoke, Ruby Metallic with Black Metallic, Silver Quartz Smoke, and Spirit Blue Metallic, several available with the Premium Package. Ride Command handles Apple CarPlay from the factory, but tethered to a cable, and Indian has never offered Android Auto on it at all. HogPlay's USB-C bypass adaptor unlocks wireless CarPlay, and a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming — all through the factory USB port, plug-and-play, no dealer visit.
