The 2020 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse pairs the blacked-out bagger look — Titanium Smoke and Ruby Smoke over gloss-black bodywork — with the same 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen that sits in every Chieftain's frame-mounted fairing. Factory Apple CarPlay works on that screen, but only over a cable, and Indian has never wired in Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass changes that: wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus streaming apps, on the display that's already built into the fairing.

Underneath the matte-and-gloss finish, the Chieftain Dark Horse is mechanically the standard Chieftain bagger — Thunder Stroke 116 V-twin, hard saddlebags, and the 7-inch Ride Command unit mounted in the fairing. The Dark Horse treatment covers wheels, badging, and trim (Ghost Grey w/Graphics and Thunder Black Smoke were also offered for 2020), not the electronics. HogPlay's kit plugs into that factory USB port to unlock wireless Apple CarPlay and add Android Auto outright, then routes both through a Media Box or Piglet for playback.
