The 2019 Tri Glide Ultra is Harley's three-wheeled flagship — a batwing-faired trike built around the Milwaukee-Eight 107 and carrying two people, luggage, and a Tour-Pak trunk over three wheels instead of two. Its Boom! Box GTS radio puts a 6.5-inch touchscreen in the fairing, and that screen already understands Apple CarPlay and Android Auto — but only once a Bluetooth headset has paired. HogPlay's bypass satisfies that check without a headset in the loop, and a Media Box or Piglet then streams CarPlay, Android Auto and your apps through the trike's own speakers. Everything routes through the USB-A port tucked in the inner fairing, and the install is plug-and-play — no cutting, no dealer.

The factory Boom! Box GTS radio locks CarPlay behind a paired headset. A HogPlay headset bypass removes that so CarPlay and the USB port work without one — then a Media Box or Piglet adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and streaming apps.

Three wheels change more than the ride — the Tri Glide Ultra widens the rear end into a two-wheel axle, so the whole platform trades lean-in cornering for stability at a stop and real cargo capacity. It still wears the same batwing fairing as Harley's two-wheel tourers, though, with the Boom! Box GTS radio and 6.5-inch touchscreen mounted up front and the Milwaukee-Eight 107 doing the work underneath.
That GTS screen is CarPlay-capable from the factory, but Harley locks the wireless handshake behind a paired headset — a rule the trike inherits along with the radio. HogPlay's bypass makes the head unit think a headset is always connected, so a Media Box or Piglet can push wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and streaming audio out to the trike's fairing speakers. The USB-A connection lives in the inner fairing, and the whole kit is fully reversible.
