The 2016 Electra Glide keeps the touring formula riders trust - big fairing, planted highway manners, and the familiar Boom! Box 4.3 on the dash. That radio was a solid performer in its time, but Apple CarPlay and Android Auto weren't part of its design brief, so there's no factory way to mirror a phone. Prefer to keep things closer to factory? Swapping in a 2019-2023 GTS radio and adding a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor unlocks that unit's built-in CarPlay and USB port without any aftermarket-brand styling.
Whichever radio you land on, a Media Box adds Android Auto along with Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music, and podcast streaming from an SD card or USB drive - genuinely useful motorcycle media with zero phone data used. A USB Piglet is a smaller step, adding Android Auto plus AirPlay or Mirror Link mirroring, and a bar-mounted Media Screen suits riders who'd rather add a display than replace the head unit.
