About 2016 Harley-Davidson
Every 2016 touring family — Electra Glide, Ultra, CVO, and Road King — shares the same Boom! Box 4.3 or 6.5GT setup as Road Glide and Street Glide, so factory Apple CarPlay wasn't offered. The fix is one of two routes: swap in a 2019-2023 Boom! Box GTS unit with a HogPlay GTS Bypass, or install one of the aftermarket radios built for these dash openings.
A HogPlay Media Box and USB Piglet layer streaming and Mirror Link/AirPlay onto either path, and none of these touring years use a headset bypass. The Softail & Cruiser line runs different factory electronics, so check that family's page for its own fitment.
