It is the last model year here, and like every year before it, CarPlay and Android Auto are nowhere in the stock radio. No Factory CarPlay — Add It Your Way
The 2013 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Shrine shipped with the factory Harman/Kardon Advanced Audio — a solid unit in its day, but no Apple CarPlay, Android Auto or touchscreen. Fit an aftermarket CarPlay radio (SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio or Aquatic AV) for on-board CarPlay and Android Auto, then a HogPlay Media Box unleashes Netflix, YouTube and streaming apps and a Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirPlay. No headset bypass needed — that's a factory-radio thing, not aftermarket. Rather not swap the radio? A bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen adds wireless CarPlay too.

Marking Harley-Davidson's 110th anniversary and the final year of this touring chassis before the 2014 redesign, the 2013 Ultra Classic Shrine still carries the Harman/Kardon Advanced Audio System, solid factory sound for AM/FM and CD but nothing built for CarPlay or Android Auto.
An aftermarket CarPlay radio from Rockford Fosgate, SoundStream, Boss, Diamond Audio, or Aquatic AV takes over from the Harman/Kardon unit, and most of these radios include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory.
A HogPlay Media Box adds Android Auto plus streaming on top of that, Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music, and podcasts, from an SD card or USB drive instead of phone data. A HogPlay USB Piglet covers Android Auto plus AirPlay or Mirror Link mirroring, and a bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen is there for riders who want to keep this final-year factory radio in place.
