The new blacked-out Night Train and the 883 Custom join a lineup that already includes Fat Boy, Heritage Classic, Low Rider, Springer Softail, and a dozen more — and audio-wise, nothing changed with the new additions. No fairing, no dash-mounted radio, no speaker wiring on any of the eighteen 1998 models, new arrivals or long-running favorites alike, top trim or base.

A bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen fits all eighteen the same way, giving the new Night Train or any longtime model like Fat Boy wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the first time ever. It's the identical solution used across the Road King family that same model year, with no rewiring required on either side and no dash cutting involved.
