The 1998 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. The Wide Glide's pulled-back handlebar leaves room for the HogPlay 7-inch Media Screen to mount cleanly without crowding the raked front end.
Power and ground wiring runs behind the headlight, and the mount is fully reversible, keeping the bike's custom look untouched underneath.
The 1998 Wide Glide finally gets a screen with the HogPlay Media Screen. Dual Bluetooth links to your phone for wireless CarPlay or Android Auto and, on a second channel, to an aux amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small speaker built into the unit takes care of turn-by-turn prompts alone. The housing stays fully sealed, waterproof, and rugged through rain and vibration.
