The 2023 Indian Pursuit Dark Horse is the blacked-out version of Indian's trunk-equipped touring flagship, and it still carries the same 7-inch Ride Command screen as every Pursuit — Apple CarPlay runs from the factory, but only over a USB cable. HogPlay's USB-C bypass adaptor frees that connection so CarPlay pairs wirelessly, and a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto plus streaming apps on top. The kit plugs into the factory harness on the liquid-cooled PowerPlus 108 — no cutting, no dealer visit, fully reversible.

The factory 7" Ride Command runs Apple CarPlay by USB cable only — no wireless, and no Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass makes CarPlay wireless, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps.

Indian dresses the Pursuit Dark Horse in matte and gloss black — dark wheels, blacked-out badging and bodywork — over the same fixed, frame-mounted fairing, hard bags and rear trunk as the rest of the Pursuit line. For 2023 the lineup ran with the Premium Package across most colorways: Black Smoke, Silver Quartz Smoke and Stealth Gray, a Stryker Red Metallic/Black Metallic combo, and two Icon graphics editions in Pearl White/Black Metallic and Quartz Gray. Every one of those bikes uses the identical 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen with wired-only factory Apple CarPlay, powered by the liquid-cooled PowerPlus 108. HogPlay's USB-C wireless bypass adaptor unlocks wireless CarPlay, and a Media Box or Piglet brings in Android Auto and streaming — the Dark Horse trim changes nothing about how the kit installs.
