Stealth Gray and Burnt Orange Metallic Smoke joined the lineup for the 2021 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse, but the electronics carried over unchanged: the same 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen in the frame-mounted fairing, wired to Apple CarPlay only. HogPlay's USB-C bypass makes that CarPlay wireless and adds Android Auto — a feature Indian has never offered from the factory — so both phone platforms run through the screen the bike already has.

The factory 7" Ride Command runs Apple CarPlay by USB cable only — no wireless, and no Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass makes CarPlay wireless, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps.

The Ride Command screen and its factory USB port don't change with paint.
