By its second year the Challenger lineup had settled into two colors, Thunder Black and Titanium Smoke, but nothing changed under the fairing — the same 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen and the same liquid-cooled PowerPlus 108 carried over from launch. Ride Command still handles Apple CarPlay only through a USB cable, and Indian has never offered factory Android Auto on the Challenger. HogPlay's USB-C bypass adaptor sets that CarPlay free wirelessly, and a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps on top, plugging straight into the factory USB port with nothing to cut.

The factory 7" Ride Command runs Apple CarPlay by USB cable only — no wireless, and no Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass makes CarPlay wireless, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps.
