The 2018 Road Glide, one of the last model years before Harley's factory CarPlay-equipped GTS radio arrived in 2019, shipped with the familiar non-touch Boom! Box 4.3. It's a fine radio for basic Bluetooth and AM/FM, but it never supported Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. HogPlay closes that gap now, years ahead of any factory fix, with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto added through an aftermarket radio or a GTS swap.
No Factory CarPlay — GTS Swap or Aftermarket
The 2018 Harley-Davidson Road Glide ran the factory Boom! Box 4.3 — no factory CarPlay or Android Auto. Two ways to add it: swap to a 2019–2023 Boom! Box GTS and add a HogPlay GTS Bypass for wireless CarPlay, or fit an aftermarket CarPlay radio (SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio, Aquatic AV). Either way a HogPlay Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and streaming and a Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirPlay. No headset bypass required.

The 2018 Road Glide was one of the last model years before Harley's GTS radio brought factory CarPlay to the touring line in 2019 - which means it still rode with the non-touch Boom! Box 4.3 and no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Riders don't have to wait for a factory fix to get there.
An aftermarket CarPlay radio from SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio or Aquatic AV drops into the fairing and usually brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto together, with no headset bypass needed. The other route is swapping in a 2019-2023 GTS radio and unlocking its factory CarPlay and USB port with a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor - that bypass covers CarPlay only, so Android Auto still needs its own add-on.
Round out either setup with a HogPlay Media Box for Android Auto plus Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music and podcast streaming from an SD card or USB drive, no phone data required. A USB Piglet adds Android Auto with Mirror Link or AirPlay mirroring in a smaller package, and a bar-mounted Media Screen is the move for bikes with no head unit yet - on a 2018 Road Glide, which already has one, the radio upgrade is usually where riders start.
