Closing out this generation, the 2018 Electra Glide pairs its familiar touring chassis with the last year of the base Boom! Box 4.3 before Harley moved to the GTS platform. Riders chasing factory-correct styling instead often swap in a 2019-2023 GTS head unit and pair it with a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor to unlock its built-in CarPlay and USB port.
From there, a Media Box adds Android Auto along with Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music, and podcast streaming from an SD card or USB drive, no phone data needed. A USB Piglet offers a smaller-footprint way to add Android Auto with AirPlay or Mirror Link mirroring, and a bar-mounted Media Screen suits riders keeping the factory radio in place. No headset bypass is required on the aftermarket-radio path.
