Most riders solve it with a new aftermarket touring radio; units from brands like Rockford Fosgate and SoundStream typically include wireless CarPlay and Android Auto right out of the box, and there's no headset bypass to fuss with on this path. If you'd rather keep the stock-radio look, swapping in a 2019-2023 GTS head unit and adding a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor unlocks the GTS's own factory CarPlay and USB port.
From there, a HogPlay Media Box adds Android Auto along with Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music and podcast streaming straight from an SD card or USB drive — no data plan needed. A HogPlay USB Piglet is the pick if you want Android Auto paired with Mirror Link or AirPlay mirroring instead, and while a bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen is available, most riders on a bike that already has a head unit choose to upgrade the radio itself.
