The 2016 Ultra Classic Low Twin-Cooled carries the same lowered-touring formula forward, wrapping the twin-cooled High Output Twin Cam in full-fairing weather protection and a Tour-Pak for two-up long-haul rides. The bike's Boom! Box 6.5 GT touchscreen handled navigation, audio, and CB duties well for the time, but it shipped with no Apple CarPlay and no Android Auto. HogPlay closes that gap wirelessly - upgrade to an aftermarket CarPlay/Android Auto radio, or move to a 2019-2023 GTS unit with a HogPlay bypass adaptor to unlock its factory CarPlay and USB port.

The 2016 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Low Twin-Cooled ran the factory Boom! Box 6.5 GT — no factory CarPlay or Android Auto. Two ways to add it: swap to a 2019–2023 Boom! The dash carried over the Boom! Box 6.5 GT touchscreen, a solid infotainment unit for AM/FM, weatherband, and phone audio, but one that Harley built without any Apple CarPlay or Android Auto support.
HogPlay gives 2016 Ultra Classic Low owners two straightforward routes to wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Install an aftermarket CarPlay radio - Diamond Audio, Boss, Rockford Fosgate, and SoundStream all make units built for the touring dash, most with Android Auto included alongside CarPlay, and none of them need a headset bypass. Or keep the factory look further down the road by swapping in a 2019-2023 GTS head unit and pairing it with a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor to unlock the GTS's built-in CarPlay and USB port.
Either way, a HogPlay Media Box adds Android Auto along with Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music, and podcast streaming, pulling media from an SD card or USB drive instead of phone data. For screen mirroring instead, a HogPlay USB Piglet adds Android Auto plus Mirror Link and AirPlay. A HogPlay Media Screen remains an option for bar-mounted display, but with a factory screen already on the fairing, most 2016 Ultra Classic Low riders opt to upgrade the head unit itself instead.
