The 2005 CVO Road Glide is the final year of the 99-05 base AM/FM radio before Harley moved to Harman/Kardon Advanced Audio the following year, and like its predecessors it has no CarPlay or Android Auto to speak of. Riders wanting phone integration on this last base-radio model need an aftermarket CarPlay radio built for the fairing. HogPlay covers that swap along with the streaming and mirroring gear that follows it.
No Factory CarPlay — Add It Your Way
The 2005 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide shipped with the factory factory touring radio (1999–2005) — a solid unit in its day, but no Apple CarPlay, Android Auto or touchscreen. Fit an aftermarket CarPlay radio (SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio or Aquatic AV) for wireless Apple CarPlay — SoundStream, Boss and Diamond Audio include Android Auto natively, while Rockford Fosgate and Aquatic AV gain it once you add a HogPlay Media Box or Piglet, which also unleash Netflix, YouTube, streaming apps, Mirror Link and AirPlay. No headset bypass needed — that's a factory-radio thing, not aftermarket. Rather not swap the radio? A bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto too.
We also stock universal parts that fit the 2005 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

The 2005 CVO Road Glide wraps up the run of factory base AM/FM radios in this fairing before Harley's audio upgrade the next year. It's a solid, simple radio, but it has no screen, no data connection, and no route to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
Riders on this last base-radio Road Glide who want wireless CarPlay and Android Auto swap in an aftermarket CarPlay radio built for the fairing opening — Rockford Fosgate and SoundStream both make head units in this size with both platforms wireless from the start.
A HogPlay Media Box installed on that new radio adds Android Auto plus Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music, and podcast streaming from an SD card or USB drive, no phone data used. A HogPlay USB Piglet is a lighter Android Auto and Mirror Link option, or keep the factory radio and mount a HogPlay Media Screen on the bar instead.

What apps and streaming can I run on the 2005 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide?

No bypass applies — the 2005 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide Harley-Davidson factory touring radio (1999–2005) has no Apple CarPlay to unlock.
