The 2025 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse brings Storm Gray and Blue Dusk into the lineup, with an available PowerBand Audio Package that upgrades the amp and speakers — not the head unit. That head unit is still the 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen, wired to Apple CarPlay only. HogPlay's USB-C bypass makes that CarPlay wireless and adds Android Auto, on top of whatever audio package the bike came with.
USB-C Bypass Required
The factory 7" Ride Command runs Apple CarPlay by USB cable only — no wireless, and no Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass makes CarPlay wireless, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps.

PowerBand Audio Package or not, every 2025 Chieftain Dark Horse — Black Smoke, Storm Gray, Sunset Red Smoke, Blue Dusk, or Ghost White Metallic Smoke — runs the same 7-inch Ride Command display and Thunder Stroke 116 as the rest of the Chieftain line, in the same frame-mounted fairing with hard saddlebags. PowerBand only changes the amp and speakers; it doesn't touch the screen or its factory USB port. HogPlay's bypass plugs into that port to unlock wireless Apple CarPlay, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming — through PowerBand's speakers if the bike has them. See the Indian Ride Command radio page for full fitment.
