The 2025 Chieftain lineup opened back up after a lean stretch, spanning Black Metallic, Black Smoke, Storm Gray, Sunset Red Smoke and the newly added Blue Dusk, with several finishes offered alongside Indian's PowerBand Audio Package for riders who want the upgraded stereo. Every one of them keeps the frame-mounted fairing and the 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen, and factory Apple CarPlay still only runs over a cable — Android Auto isn't part of the package. A HogPlay USB-C bypass adaptor cuts that cord for wireless CarPlay, and a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming, plugged into the factory USB connection on the air-cooled Thunder Stroke 111.

The factory 7" Ride Command runs Apple CarPlay by USB cable only — no wireless, and no Android Auto. A HogPlay USB-C bypass makes CarPlay wireless, then a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming apps.

The bike itself is the familiar formula: a frame-mounted fairing over the 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen, hard saddlebags, and the air-cooled Thunder Stroke 111. PowerBand only upgrades the speakers and amp, not the head unit, so the CarPlay story is unchanged — Ride Command's factory Apple CarPlay is wired-only, with no Android Auto from Indian. HogPlay's USB-C bypass adaptor makes that CarPlay wireless, and a Media Box or Piglet adds Android Auto and streaming through the factory USB port, fully reversible.
