The 2018 Ultra Limited Low closes out this run of the lowered full-dresser, still built around a fairing, hard bags and a seat height made for planting both feet at a stop. Its Boom! Box 6.5 GT touchscreen handled navigation and audio fine for 2018 but never gained factory Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. HogPlay fixes that with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, through either an aftermarket radio or a GTS swap plus bypass adaptor.

The 2018 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited Low ran the factory Boom! Box 6.5 GT — no factory CarPlay or Android Auto. Two ways to add it: swap to a 2019–2023 Boom! Box GTS and add a HogPlay GTS Bypass for wireless CarPlay, or fit an aftermarket CarPlay radio (SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio, Aquatic AV). Either way a HogPlay Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and streaming and a Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirPlay. No headset bypass required.

The 2018 Ultra Limited Low is the last model year of this generation's lowered full-dresser — fairing, hard bags and a reach tuned for confident stops, all wrapped around the touchscreen Boom! Box 6.5 GT. That radio was a strong factory unit for 2018, but Apple CarPlay and Android Auto never made it into the package.
Riders typically close that gap with a new aftermarket radio built for the touring dash; SoundStream and Rockford Fosgate both offer options with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto onboard, and no headset bypass is needed to install one. The other route is swapping in a 2019-2023 GTS head unit and adding a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor, which unlocks the GTS's factory CarPlay and USB port on this earlier bike.
Pair either setup with a HogPlay Media Box to add Android Auto and stream Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music and podcasts from an SD card or USB drive with no phone data used, or a HogPlay USB Piglet for Android Auto plus Mirror Link or AirPlay mirroring. A bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen is also available, though most riders here just upgrade the radio itself since the bike already has one.
