About 2018 Harley-Davidson Ultra Models

Every 2018 Ultra model, including the Ultra Classic, Ultra Limited Low, Ultra Limited Anniversary, and Ultra Limited Shrine Edition, left the factory with a Boom! Box 4.3 or Boom! Box 6.5GT head unit and no built-in Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The Tri Glide Ultra Anniversary shares the same factory setup on three wheels.

Two paths bring smartphone connectivity to these bikes: a retrofit swap to a genuine 2019-2023 Boom! Box GTS unit using a HogPlay GTS Bypass, or a purpose-built aftermarket CarPlay radio. Either route pairs with a HogPlay Media Box for streaming audio and a USB Piglet for Mirror Link and AirPlay.
