By 2018 the Milwaukee-Eight Street Glide was a proven, well-liked tourer, but Harley kept the same Boom! Box 4.3 in the fairing — no Apple CarPlay, no Android Auto, just Bluetooth calling and basic audio. HogPlay changes that with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto added through an aftermarket head unit or a later GTS swap and bypass, plus streaming options the stock radio can't touch.

The 2018 Harley-Davidson Street Glide ran the factory Boom! Box 4.3 — no factory CarPlay or Android Auto. Two ways to add it: swap to a 2019–2023 Boom! Box GTS and add a HogPlay GTS Bypass for wireless CarPlay, or fit an aftermarket CarPlay radio (SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio, Aquatic AV). The 2018 Street Glide is a second-year Milwaukee-Eight bike, a proven long-haul tourer that still shipped with the same Boom! Box 4.3 — reliable for calls and stock audio, but with no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto from the factory.
For most riders, the easiest fix is an aftermarket CarPlay radio; units from Rockford Fosgate or Boss commonly include both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in one box, with no headset bypass needed on this path. Riders chasing more of a factory look instead swap in a 2019-2023 GTS head unit and add a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor, unlocking the GTS's own factory CarPlay and USB port (Android Auto there still needs its own add-on).
Whichever radio lands in the fairing, a HogPlay Media Box adds Android Auto plus Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music, and podcast streaming from an SD card or USB drive, no phone data required. A USB Piglet is the compact way to add Android Auto with Mirror Link or AirPlay mirroring, and a bar-mounted Media Screen is worth considering if you'd rather add a display than swap the head unit.
