The 2017 Road Glide introduced the Milwaukee-Eight engine underneath the same Rushmore-style fairing, still running the non-touch Boom! Box 4.3 radio. The engine changed - the infotainment didn't - so there was still no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto from the factory. No Factory CarPlay — GTS Swap or Aftermarket
The 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide ran the factory Boom! Box 4.3 — no factory CarPlay or Android Auto. Two ways to add it: swap to a 2019–2023 Boom! Box GTS and add a HogPlay GTS Bypass for wireless CarPlay, or fit an aftermarket CarPlay radio (SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio, Aquatic AV). Either way a HogPlay Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and streaming and a Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirPlay. No headset bypass required.

Brands like Rockford Fosgate, SoundStream, Diamond Audio, Boss and Aquatic AV all sell CarPlay radios sized for the Road Glide fairing, most with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto both on board and no headset bypass to wire in. If you'd rather keep the factory Harley radio face, swapping to a 2019-2023 GTS unit and running a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor unlocks its built-in CarPlay and USB port - Android Auto on that path comes from a separate add-on.
