The 2015 Road Glide carried the Rushmore-era fairing into its second year and added the Road Glide Special as its own trim, with the same non-touch Boom! Box 4.3 radio underneath. It was a capable setup for its time - clear audio, simple Bluetooth pairing - but no wireless CarPlay or Android Auto. No Factory CarPlay — GTS Swap or Aftermarket
The 2015 Harley-Davidson Road Glide ran the factory Boom! Box 4.3 — no factory CarPlay or Android Auto. Two ways to add it: swap to a 2019–2023 Boom! Box GTS and add a HogPlay GTS Bypass for wireless CarPlay, or fit an aftermarket CarPlay radio (SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio, Aquatic AV). Either way a HogPlay Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and streaming and a Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirPlay. No headset bypass required.

The 2015 Road Glide Special introduced its own trim on the same platform, but under the tank badge the electronics were still built around the Boom! Box 4.3 - a fine non-touch radio for its era, with zero support for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Riders who want their phone's maps, music and texts up on the fairing display need to add that capability aftermarket.
Aftermarket CarPlay radios from Rockford Fosgate, SoundStream, Diamond Audio, Boss and Aquatic AV are built to drop into the Road Glide's fairing opening, and most include both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in one unit - no headset bypass required. The alternative is swapping toward a 2019-2023 GTS radio and running a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor to unlock its factory CarPlay and USB port (Android Auto still needs a separate add-on with this route).
Whichever radio ends up in the fairing, a HogPlay Media Box adds Android Auto along with Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music and podcast streaming from an SD card or USB drive - no phone data burned. A USB Piglet is the smaller option for Android Auto plus Mirror Link or AirPlay mirroring, and a bar-mounted Media Screen is there for bikes without a display at all - though on a 2015 Road Glide with a head unit already in place, most riders put their money into the radio upgrade first.
