Underneath the blacked-out styling, the Road King Special runs the same Boom! Box GTS unit as the rest of Harley's current touring lineup, which caps factory CarPlay to a paired headset rather than the dash. A CarPlay bypass adaptor intercepts that stock wiring so the screen mounted right in front of the rider becomes the CarPlay screen.
Add a Media Box to the bypass for a permanent, always-on CarPlay connection, or browse HogPlay's full range of aftermarket radios if a fresh head unit fits the build better than modifying the factory one.
