2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Boom! Box GTS Bypass

The 2024 Road Glide's signature shark-nose fairing hides the same Boom! Box GTS unit found across Harley's touring line, and getting CarPlay running on any of the three trims — Road Glide, Road Glide 3, or Road Glide Limited — means pairing a Bluetooth headset first, since Harley never wired in a cable or direct-to-phone option.

About 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Models

Boom! Box GTS ties CarPlay to a paired Bluetooth headset rather than a cable or a straightforward phone connection, which means riders without a compatible helmet headset can't get CarPlay running at all, and Android Auto isn't supported on the factory software regardless of headset. HogPlay's Boom! Box GTS bypass removes the headset requirement and adds Android Auto support, running both platforms wirelessly straight from the fairing display.

All three 2024 Road Glide trims share the identical fairing electronics, so the same bypass kit installs the same way on the base Road Glide, the performance-tuned Road Glide 3, and the Road Glide Limited. Riders who want cleaner audio routing between the fairing speakers and a helmet headset kept purely for calls should add a HogPlay Media Box to the order.
