About 2024 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Models
The Electra Glide Police inherits the same Boom! Box GTS electronics as the rest of the current touring lineup, meaning its dash touchscreen displays audio and phone functions but hands CarPlay to a paired Bluetooth headset rather than the screen. A bypass adaptor wired into a Media Box puts CarPlay back on the fairing where a rider actually glances at it.
The analog-leaning Electra Glide Standard ships without that touchscreen at all, so there's no factory display to bypass. Owners can either drop in a Media Screen for a clean CarPlay-ready dash or step up to an aftermarket radio built for the fairing opening, whichever better suits the bike's minimalist look.
