The 2015 Ultra Classic carried the Project Rushmore look into its second model year with the Twin Cam 103 and the same Boom! Box 6.5 GT touchscreen that debuted the year before. It's a capable, easy-to-read radio for its time, with Bluetooth calling and available GPS, but no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto ever shipped in it. HogPlay closes that gap with a wireless retrofit built around the bike's existing dash.
No Factory CarPlay — GTS Swap or Aftermarket
The 2015 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic ran the factory Boom! Box 6.5 GT — no factory CarPlay or Android Auto. Two ways to add it: swap to a 2019–2023 Boom! Box GTS and add a HogPlay GTS Bypass for wireless CarPlay, or fit an aftermarket CarPlay radio (SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio, Aquatic AV). Either way a HogPlay Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and streaming and a Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirPlay. No headset bypass required.

The 2015 Ultra Classic carried the Project Rushmore redesign into its second model year essentially unchanged - same Twin Cam 103, same fairing and saddlebag layout, same Boom! Box 6.5 GT touchscreen at the center of the dash. That radio handled Bluetooth calling and available GPS competently for 2015, but Apple CarPlay and Android Auto weren't part of its feature set, and they never became one through a software update. Riders wanting phone-mirrored navigation, streaming music, or hands-free texting have to bring it in from outside the factory.
An aftermarket touchscreen from Boss or Diamond Audio is usually the fastest path - most of these radios include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto right out of the box, and since it's a standalone aftermarket unit, no headset bypass is required to get phone mirroring working. Prefer to stay closer to the stock look? Swap toward a 2019-2023 GTS radio and add a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor, which unlocks the GTS's factory CarPlay and USB port (the bypass alone doesn't bring Android Auto with it).
Add a HogPlay Media Box to either setup for Android Auto plus Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music, and podcast streaming, played from an SD card or USB drive rather than your phone's data. A USB Piglet is the alternative if you want Android Auto together with Mirror Link and AirPlay mirroring straight from your phone. There's also a bar-mounted Media Screen for riders who want a dedicated display, though most 2015 Ultra Classic owners with a working head unit already just upgrade that radio instead.
