The 2014 Ultra Limited is Harley's long-haul flagship - full fairing, hard bags, and a passenger seat built for interstate miles. It rolled off the line with the Boom! Box 6.5 GT, a touchscreen that was genuinely impressive for 2014 but was never wired for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. HogPlay bridges that gap with a wireless upgrade path that brings both to this bike.
No Factory CarPlay — GTS Swap or Aftermarket
The 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited Shrine ran the factory Boom! Box 6.5 GT — no factory CarPlay or Android Auto. Two ways to add it: swap to a 2019–2023 Boom! Box GTS and add a HogPlay GTS Bypass for wireless CarPlay, or fit an aftermarket CarPlay radio (SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio, Aquatic AV). Either way a HogPlay Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and streaming and a Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirPlay. No headset bypass required.
We also stock universal parts that fit the 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited Shrine and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

The 2014 Ultra Limited is built for the long haul, and long hauls make a rider want their whole phone along for the ride - turn-by-turn from a real map app, music from whatever library or streaming service is already in their pocket, and calls without ever taking a hand off the bar. The factory Boom! Box 6.5 GT never had that built in, so the upgrade has to come from the aftermarket.
The most direct route is swapping in an aftermarket CarPlay radio from a brand like SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio or Aquatic AV - most of these units include both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto right onboard, and there's no headset bypass to deal with on this path since that's strictly a factory-radio workaround. Riders who'd rather keep a Harley-branded head unit can instead swap up to a 2019-2023 GTS radio and add a HogPlay CarPlay bypass adaptor, which unlocks the GTS's factory CarPlay and USB port.
Whichever radio ends up on the bar, a HogPlay Media Box layers on Android Auto plus Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music and podcast streaming straight from an SD card or USB drive - no phone data required. A USB Piglet is the lighter option, adding Android Auto plus AirPlay and Mirror Link screen mirroring, and for bikes that want a dedicated bar-mounted display rather than another head unit, a Media Screen is worth a look too.
HogPlay Media Boxes work on Diamond Audio, Boss Audio, Rockford Fosgate, SoundStream and Aquatic AV aftermarket radios to unlock apps, streaming and more — it's not just for factory screens. Running an aftermarket head unit? See the matching aftermarket radio pages.
