The 2001 model year swapped a few names in and out of the Softail and Cruiser lineup — the MT500 and base Custom dropped off, the Defender and Super Glide T-Sport stepped in — but every single bike in this nineteen-strong family shares the same trait as its predecessors: no dash cubby, no speakers, no factory wiring harness built for audio. Harley simply didn't design a radio into these low, stripped-down chassis.
