About 1997 Harley-Davidson Softail & Cruiser Models

The Heritage Softail Nostalgia dropped from the lineup for 1997, but everything else about these bikes' electronics stayed the same: a bare-bones approach with no fairing and no factory audio system anywhere across the fifteen-model range, whether it's a base 883 or a fully-chromed Heritage Springer riding next to it on the showroom floor that same model-year season and price point.

That's an easy fix with a bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen, which clamps directly to the handlebar and adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto without touching a dash that was never built for it. The same mount fits the Wide Glide and the Super Glide alike, and every other model in the Softail & Cruiser range besides, with no rewiring needed.
