2015 Softail & Sportster Cruiser CarPlay Kits

None of the 2015 Softail or Sportster-based cruisers — Fat Boy included — left the factory with a stereo, so every bike in this family starts from the same clean slate for a CarPlay install.

About 2015 Harley-Davidson Softail & Cruiser Models

Whether you're riding a Street Bob, an Iron 883, or a Breakout, there's no fairing and no dash to work around, which is exactly why a bar-mounted Media Screen has become the go-to fix for this whole lineup — it clamps to the handlebar, wires to a battery tap, and gives you CarPlay or Android Auto where Harley never put a screen in the first place.

Bigger cruisers like the Heritage Classic or the windshield-equipped Fat Bob can mount the screen higher for better sightlines, while smaller Sportster-based models such as the Forty-Eight usually run it low near the risers. Add a USB piglet adaptor if all you want is wired CarPlay through a phone mount without the full screen kit.
