About 2012 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Models

Harley's flagship touring fairing kept its factory AM/FM stereo across the 2012 Electra Glide, Electra Glide Classic, Electra Glide Standard, and Electra Glide Ultra Limited. It sounds solid on the highway, but there's no touchscreen behind that fairing and no hidden setting that unlocks smartphone mirroring — the whole system was designed before CarPlay was part of the conversation, back when AM/FM and a CD slot were still considered premium features.

To modernize it, HogPlay offers a CarPlay-ready aftermarket radio built for the factory opening, or a Media Screen mounted at the bars for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto alongside the stock instruments. The same upgrade works on the related Street Glide and Road King from the same model year, and neither option requires permanent changes to the factory fairing or wiring.
