About 2002 Harley-Davidson Softail & Cruiser Models

The 2002 lineup grew to twenty-two names, its largest count in this series, thanks to the sport-oriented 883R Roadster and the arrival of the liquid-cooled V-Rod (VRSCA) in two configurations. New engine architecture and a radically different frame didn't change the one constant across this entire segment: no factory radio, on the V-Rod or anything else in the family. Harley left audio entirely to the aftermarket on every one of these twenty-two bikes.

That makes the Media Screen a clean fit across the whole roster, V-Rod included — a bar-mounted 7-inch unit with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto built in, wired with a single tap into the existing harness. It mounts the same way on a Deuce, a Night Train, or a Wide Glide as it does on the new V-Rod.
