About 2002 Harley-Davidson

By 2002 the touring fleet was still running the same legacy AM/FM formula it had for years, Harman/Kardon speakers reserved for Ultra and CVO trims. What's new this year sits on the cruiser side: the Softail & Cruiser hub grew to twenty-two names with the debut of the 883R Roadster and the V-Rod's first appearance on this platform — and, true to form for that whole segment, neither one shipped with a radio.

Whichever family you're shopping, the fix falls into one of two buckets: an aftermarket CarPlay radio for touring bikes with an existing fairing deck to replace, or a Media Screen for anything — cruiser, Softail, or the new V-Rod — with no factory unit at all.
