The 2002 Harley-Davidson Softail Deuce is the bike that redefined factory custom, its stretched tank, chrome-covered Twin Cam 88, and low-slung silhouette pulled straight from the aftermarket world when it debuted in 2000. Two years in, the Deuce was still the styling benchmark every custom-cruiser rival got measured against. What it never had was a factory radio or infotainment of any kind. The HogPlay Media Screen fills that gap: a 7-inch bar-mounted display bringing wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a 2002 Deuce that was never wired for either.
No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2002 Harley-Davidson Deuce left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

Every HogPlay Media Screen runs dual Bluetooth, so a rider on a 2002 Deuce can pair a phone for wireless CarPlay or Android Auto on one channel while the second channel feeds an auxiliary amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio right off the bars, and the whole unit is fully sealed and waterproof, built rugged enough to handle rain, road grime, and everything else a Softail sees on the road.
