About 1999 Harley-Davidson CVO Models

1999's CVO lineup mirrors the standard touring family for the first time, covering Electra Glide, Road Glide, and the brand-new Street Glide in factory-custom form. Paint, trim, and badging set these bikes apart from their base-model counterparts, but the audio system didn't get the upgrade treatment — all three ran the same AM/FM cassette head unit as any standard 1999 tourer.

That shared factory deck means one aftermarket CarPlay radio fits all three 1999 CVO models, adding wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the existing fairing opening without any custom work. It's the identical part used on the standard Street Glide and Road Glide families that same year, right down to the connector, mounting bracket, and existing speaker wiring already in place.
