That gap doesn't discriminate by trim: the touring-loaded Chieftain Limited runs the exact same Ride Command software as the base bike, so an Android Auto user is locked out on either one regardless of how many options boxes got checked at the dealership.
A bypass adaptor closes that gap by making Ride Command treat an Android phone the way it already treats an iPhone, bringing full Android Auto to the Chieftain's factory display, and the same fix carries over identically to the Chieftain Dark Horse and Chieftain Limited trims already covered by Ride Command.
