By 2022 the Indian Chief lineup expanded, and the base Chief kept its stripped-roadster formula: a single round gauge, blacked-out or painted trim in colors like Black Metallic and White Smoke, and the Thunder Stroke 111 V-twin under the tank. Indian still didn't put a touchscreen on it, so there's no wired CarPlay to bypass — HogPlay instead adds a 7-inch CarPlay and Android Auto screen with built-in speakers, mounted where it's easy to see and easy to remove. Power comes from a simple USB feed, and the whole kit unbolts if you ever sell the bike back to stock trim.
