The 2020 FTR 1200 Rally is Indian's flat-track racer turned street machine, wearing dual-sport-style spoked wheels, semi-knobby rubber, and a tall, upright stance built for riders who want dirt-tracker attitude on pavement and gravel alike. Power comes from the liquid-cooled 1203cc V-Twin, tuned for the same snappy midrange that made the factory FTR race bikes so aggressive off the line. Indian sent the Rally out the door with no factory touchscreen or navigation, just clean, purposeful analog-leaning dash real estate. The HogPlay Media Screen bolts to the handlebar and wires to power and ground, bringing wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a bike that was never meant to have a screen at all.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2020 Indian FTR 1200 Rally left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2020 Indian FTR 1200 Rally and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2020 Indian FTR 1200 Rally

The FTR 1200 Rally's tall bars and flat-track stance leave the cockpit refreshingly uncluttered, with no OEM display fighting for space. The HogPlay 7-inch Media Screen mounts cleanly on the handlebar clamp, right in the rider's natural sightline.

Installation runs off two wires, power and ground, nothing else. The mount is fully reversible, so the Rally's stock dash and switchgear stay exactly as Indian built them, with zero cutting or drilling required.

Off-roading through gravel or grinding out flat-track miles on the street, the 2020 FTR 1200 Rally was built without a factory display, and the HogPlay Media Screen fills that gap in true dirt-tracker fashion. Dual Bluetooth keeps one channel locked to your phone for CarPlay or Android Auto while a second channel streams to a handlebar speaker, aux amp, or portable Bluetooth speaker strapped to the bars. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn prompts even with the wind roaring past the Rally's exposed cockpit. The housing is fully sealed and waterproof, rugged enough to shrug off the mud, dust, and rock spray that come standard with riding a machine this capable off the beaten path.
