The 2012 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide carries forward the stripped-down, old-school bobber look that defined its 2010 relaunch — a wide, chrome-shrouded front end sitting low over a blacked-out Twin Cam 103 V-twin, drag-style bars, and a tall sissy bar out back. It's a factory custom built for attitude, not electronics, so there's no infotainment of any kind from the factory. No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2012 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. Harley resurrected the Wide Glide nameplate in 2010 specifically to chase this raked-out, wide-front bobber styling, and the 2012 model rides on the Dyna platform with the Twin Cam 103 doing the work under those blacked-out covers — more low-end grunt than the old Twin Cam 96 it replaced, wrapped in the same lean, no-fairing silhouette. Since there's nowhere factory to mount a screen, the HogPlay Media Screen clamps straight to the handlebars in the rider's sightline. It taps into a nearby 12V power source and a solid ground, and the mount reverses easily if you'd rather run it above or below the bars.
The HogPlay Media Screen was built for a bike like this 2012 Wide Glide that never had a factory stereo. It runs two independent Bluetooth channels — one pairs your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the other feeds an amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker.
